40 volunteers from 3 local churches worked tirelessly on Oct 19 to complete an estimated 3 weeks worth of painting in one day! Lyall Peacock Oval is one of the premiere sporting facilities on the western side of Lake Macquarie being home to the Macquarie Scorpions and Toronto Awaba football clubs. It was built by volunteers (originally the late Lyall Peacock in the 1960’s) and is still maintained 100% by volunteers.
