Hello Hunter is committed to being a community safe programme. A part of this commitment is volunteer screening and training. Please see the volunteer requirements and training below.

Volunteer Requirements:

A) A completed Hello Hunter Application Form
B) Provide a copy of your Police Check. If you need assistance to obtain this please let us know.
C) Tick permission for us to get a character reference from your local Christian Church Minister.
D) Complete the Volunteer Training Package.
E) Submit your Hello Hunter Code of Conduct and Volunteer Agreement.

To support your learning weekly Zoom Volunteer Learning sessions are available. In these sessions you are able to go over resources and ask questions. There is also an opportunity to meet other volunteers and learn from them.

Prayers offered are for the needs raised by the person and should be prayers of encouragement and blessing. Prayers must also recognise and respect the diversity that exists in the Church. You can ask the person if they are from a particular denomination and example prayers are available by clicking on the ‘model prayers’ link.


 

Once you have completed your help referral click on the ‘Notes’ link and submit a brief notification report of the outcome.
