“I have to thank you for a lovely day and the best day when I arrived Australia. Me and my family were very excited with you and the team.” Jesmond Project Recipient

“Thank you so much we really appreciate it.” Windale Project Recipient

“I just want to thank everyone who was involved in my backyard blitz. It looks amazing. I’m so grateful, thank you all a million times, God bless you.” Cardiff Project Recipient

“I can’t believe the improvements! It will be so much cooler with the fake grass (I assume it’s fake) covering the concrete. And those hanging pots! And the little herb garden! And the vine taken off all the front garden! I’m so excited! It was always so ugly and I’ve dreamed of it being improved ever since I started work there. Such a welcoming space for staff and clients now!” Womens Refuge Recipient

“CityServe really helped me to see my life in a different perspective. I thought I was doing it tough working 20 days straight, but when you spend time with a refugee family that has had to flee their country, they are separated from all their extended family and are learning to live in a different culture with one of their children that has significant disabilities you realise that really we are so blessed.” CityServe Volunteer

“Here are some before and after shots but they really don’t show all the work that was done as there was just so much rubbish cleared. We had the mixed rubbish skip bin piled up and overflowing!  Not so much in the steel bin as quite a bit was loaded on Steve’s truck and taken to the school to be used there. It was great weather, and we had a good team. Brad Langman did a great job of leading out as well and was there till we finished.  Thanks for all your help with this project. ” Jan & Steve
